Hurricane Punch

There is no mistaking – I love making pretty food and drinks! It’s so much fun to get in the kitchen and see what I can create next. Occasionally, I create food twists by swapping out items or trying out variations of a classic recipe. What I love about making cocktails and drinks is that there is so much I haven’t tried. Brandon enjoys creating the recipes too so it’s perfect for me. All I have to focus on is styling and photography. I like to think about where would I be if I was drinking this, what would I be doing, and how can I add my own special touch. Food and drink styling is something I enjoy and I keep trying to push the limits.

Today’s drink recipe is one that many locals may have had before – a Hurricane punch. This recipe is our version on a traditional New Orleans inspired cocktail, featuring rum, pineapple juice and more. It’s normally served in a Hurricane glass but I served it in green vintage glassware. I like to use my vintage serving-ware as much as possible. You can even do the same for the Big Game. As you’re cheering for your favorite team on Game Day, sip on this Hurricane Punch. It taste fruity, looks pretty, and packs a memorable punch. Here’s the recipe so you can impress your guests with it. Super simple!
