I Spy – No.1

I’ve been spying so many awesome recipes and home/craft projects all over the internet lately. I’ve been trying to “PIN” posts, save them to my Instagram collections, and leave comments when I have time. Today, I thought I’d share some of the things I’ve been finding with you. I’m not sure if this will be a regular feature on the blog but I definitely foresee doing this from time to time. Maybe you’ll be inspired by something I share too!

1. White Chicken Chili

This White Chicken Chili by Tim, of the blog, Honestly Dad looks so tasty! I found Tim on Instagram and love all the food recipes he shares. I’ve got my eye on his Easy Enchiladas too. Check him out!

2. Big Boy Room Reveal by Erin of Live Pretty on a Penny

This big boy room reveal by Erin is one blog reveal I’ve been desperately waiting for! I can honestly say I loved everything that Erin did in this space for her son. Personally, I think the incorporation of the “woodsy” wallpaper really brought the entire look together. Erin worked on this space for about 8 months and it was well worth all her effort. It’s definitely inspiration to finish my son’s room. Visit her blog to check out the whole project!

3. The Ultimate Caesar Cocktail

Dennis The Prescott is another man who loves to cook, photograph and write. His food styling caught my eye on Instagram…it’s superb. He gives so much attention to all the details and that always works when you’re photographing food and drinks. This cocktail is what caught my eye and I’ve been following him ever since. He even has his own cookbook. Go Dennis!

4. Italian Provincial Chest Makeover

I’m a sucker for a good before and after…are you? Melanie at Lost and Found Decor shared a beautiful chest of drawers makeover this week. I too love furniture with “good bones” and Melanie has a great eye for that as well. Visit her blog to see what this dresser looked like before.

5. Crawfish Sliders

There is so much pretty food content on the internet and this recipe is one I’ve saved for later. These crawfish sliders by Cyn at Better With Biscuits  are perfect for crawfish season. I love Cyn’s passion for cooking and her awesome food styling. So happy to have found her space on the internet!

6. Awesome DIY Faux Wallpaper

Jessica of The Mountain and Moon participated in the  Jessica of The Mountain and Moon and painted each dot in this closet. Yep! SHE. PAINTED. EACH. DOT. When I first saw this picture on Instagram, I thought – I love that wallpaper! Then when I realized this was hand-painted, I had to learn more about the lady behind this project. I think this project shows that even with a very small budget you can get a designer look – for less. That’s exactly what Jessica and her husband did. AWESOME SAUCE!
