Do you meal plan? Here is why I take the time to meal plan for the week. Could you benefit from having a weekly meal plan?
Planning out your meals can go a long ways towards eating healthier, sticking to a budget, and even less frustration for the entire family. For several months, I’ve done my best to plan out meals for the week and make a grocery shopping list that corresponds with the plan. Sundays are normally a good day to implement this because it’s normally our slowest day of the week. It has definitely helped to to save our family money because there aren’t many impulse buys at the grocery store. Do I forget one or two items or run out of something I thought I had? Yes! So, occasionally, we have to pick up something from the grocery store during the week. But overall, it does work. We eat out less, don’t overspend on food, and everybody is happy. My system is not perfect but it works.
Today, I simply wanted to share this week’s meal plan with you. As time goes on, I hope to add more to these posts to help you out like grocery shopping lists and recipes. For now, maybe there’s something in our meal plan that will spark an idea for dinner for you and your family. Enjoy!
