For over six months, I’ve been sharing my new nutrition journey, in which I’ve been trying to eat better. I’ve become very conscious about choosing food and snacks that are “better for me” and my overall wellness goals. It hasn’t been an easy! But I’m learning, making changes, and seeing results. One easy way, I get a lot of nutrition, in one setting, is by making nutritious smoothies. If you’re looking to take up your smoothies a notch, then try making a smoothie bowl with added protein.
To make a smoothie bowl with added protein, you need all the right ingredients, including, SKIPPY® Natural Creamy Peanut Butter Spread Squeeze Pack. It’s so easy to make a smoothie bowl. You’ll need standard smoothie ingredients like greek yogurt, frozen fruit, and acai powder. I like to freeze my smoothie mixture until I’m ready to eat it. Freezing keeps the smoothie mixture firm and the right temperature. I only do this for about 10 minutes. Fresh fruit, granola, and toppings including, SKIPPY® Natural Creamy Peanut Butter Spread Squeeze Pack or SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter Squeeze Pack are essential to complete the smoothie bowl. SKIPPY® Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs are resealable and contain roughly 5 servings. I can use what I need and save the rest for later. Get the full protein packed smoothie bowl recipe here.
